Privacy policy
Effective October 18, 2026
Monthkind is operated by Peterson Group Enterprises LLC, a Florida company. This policy explains how we handle information when bookkeeping firms and their clients use Monthkind. Contact info@pgeholdingsllc.com with privacy or data requests.
Information we handle
We store the firm owner's email address, firm name, timezone, settings, client names and email addresses, document checklists, uploaded files and file details, review decisions, security audit records, public passkey credentials, verification records, and reminder records. Our hosting and email providers also process technical information such as IP addresses, request logs, browser information, and email delivery status.
Stripe processes payment details directly. Monthkind stores Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, subscription status, and billing period information. Payment card numbers are not submitted to the Monthkind app.
How information is used
We use this information to sign you in, separate firm workspaces, deliver requested documents, send transactional reminders, operate subscriptions, provide support, and protect the service against abuse. The firm decides which clients to add, which documents to request, and whether to send reminders.
Service providers and disclosures
Railway hosts the app, database, and private document storage. Resend delivers sign-in emails and reminders; these messages include recipient addresses, checklist labels, and a private client link, but no uploaded file attachments. Stripe handles checkout and subscription billing. Cloudflare provides domain and DNS services and private recovery storage for backup copies. Recovery credentials are kept separately from the public web application. Google Fonts receives ordinary browser requests when loading the site's fonts. Providers process information under their own service terms and privacy policies, and information may be processed in countries where they operate.
We do not sell client documents or use uploaded files to train AI models. Authorized personnel may access information as needed for support, security, and service operation. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
Access and private links
Firm owners verify their email and use a passkey with device verification before accessing their workspace. We store public passkey credentials, not your fingerprint, face scan, or device PIN. Clients must verify a short-lived code sent to the client email on file before viewing their checklist or submitting files. Email link and code verification relies on the security of that mailbox. Treat links and codes as confidential. Firms can revoke their client links. Files are stored privately and owner downloads require sign-in. No service can guarantee absolute security.
Early access
Account registration is open while real client records, paid activation, document uploads, and reminders remain paused. Do not submit client financial information during this period. The account page shows the current availability.
Retention and your choices
Firm records and uploaded documents remain available while the account is maintained. Canceling a subscription stops paid features at the end of the paid period; cancellation does not delete your data. You can still sign in and download existing documents after paid access ends. Archiving a client does not delete their files.
To request a client file deletion, account deletion, correction, or a copy of your information, contact us from the account's verified email. We verify account ownership and authority before acting and may retain limited billing, security, or legal records where needed. Deletion from active systems does not instantly remove protected recovery copies. Backup copies are restricted to recovery use and expire under their applicable schedules; locked recovery objects cannot be removed during their lock period. We will explain the applicable deletion timing when fulfilling a verified request. A client should first contact the bookkeeping firm that requested their documents because that firm controls its collection and use of them.
Cookies and the demo
The app uses necessary session cookies for owner sign-in and verified client access. We do not install advertising pixels or advertising cookies. The separate interactive demo uses fictional data in browser memory; it does not upload documents or send email. Do not enter real financial information in the demo.
Scope and updates
Monthkind is a business service for adults. It is not directed to children. We will publish policy changes here and provide appropriate notice of material changes.
